Lisa Evans also won the Women's Super League during a five-year spell with Arsenal between 2017 and 2022.

Scotland winger Lisa Evans has joined Bristol City from Women's Super League relegation rivals West Ham.

Evans, 31, has signed until June 2025 and will be available for the Sunday's meeting of the two sides (14:00 GMT).

Bristol City are bottom of the league on goal difference and level on points with the Irons.

Evans, who played 61 times during two-and-a-half seasons with the London club, said she "wasn't really expecting to leave West Ham" in this window.

"As it happened the opportunity came along I was delighted and I took it with both hands," she added.

Evans joined West Ham on a permanent deal in June 2022 after spending the 2021-22 season on loan from Arsenal.

She has scored once and assisted once in nine league appearances so far this campaign.
