Newport County came from behind to earn a 2-1 win over Swindon Town.

Dawson Devoy hit the post from a free-kick early on before Paul Glatzel scored his first goal for Swindon shortly after half time.

But Evans netted his 20th goal of the season in the 53rd minute, with Seb Palmer-Houlden's late strike clinching victory for the Exiles.

Newport climb to 13th while Swindon - who saw Harry McKirdy hit the post in injury time - sit 17th in League Two.

Newport County boss Graham Coughlan:

"Coming from 1-0 down, a 2-1 win, if we can talk about the second half only I'd be delighted because we just weren't at it in the first half.

"The fans were very good in the second half to us, fair play to them, we needed their energy because we were flat.

"It's been a strong 8-10 games and the bench was a big part of our game today."
