Heart of Midlothian: Yan Dhanda agrees pre-contract deal when Ross County spell ends
- Published
Heart of Midlothian have agreed a pre-contract deal with Ross County's Yan Danda - but hope to bring the midfielder to Tynecastle in January.
However, County chief executive Steven Ferguson has told BBC Scotland Dhanda will remain at the club unless a substantial offer comes in.
The 25-year-old Englishman is out of contract at the end of the season and has been tracked by a number of clubs in Scotland and England.
The transfer window closes on Thursday.
Ferguson added Ross County have not received any bid for Dhanda's transfer in the current window.
Derek Adams' County are second bottom of the Scottish Premiership and visit Livingston, who are six points adrift at the foot of the table, on Tuesday.
Dhanda will become part of Steven Naismith's side for free in the summer if the Edinburgh club and County do not agree a fee for him before 23:30 GMT on Thursday.
He came through the youth system at Liverpool and joined the Dingwall club after leaving Swansea City in June 2022.
The midfielder played for England Under-16s and Under-17s and has scored eight goals for County in 63 appearances.
And his former manager at County, Malky Mackay, says the Tynecastle club will be getting a "great talent who is technically very good."
