Morgan Rogers: Middlesbrough reject third Aston Villa bid for forward
- Published
Middlesbrough have rejected a third bid from Aston Villa for forward Morgan Rogers.
Villa have targeted the 21-year-old but had two offers turned down by the Championship club last week.
Boro owner Steve Gibson is determined not to let the player go for less than his valuation, which is thought to be about £12m.
Rogers joined Boro last summer for £1.5m, but Manchester City negotiated a huge sell-on fee as part of the deal.
He has scored seven goals and assisted a further eight for Michael Carrick's side in 33 appearances this season.
The transfer window closes at 23:00 GMT on Thursday, 1 February.
