Leeds United have signed Burnley full-back Connor Roberts on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old Wales international has played 16 games for the Clarets since their promotion to the top flight, but has not started a match since October.

Roberts started his career at Swansea, and has also had spells with Yeovil, Bristol Rovers and Middlesbrough.

He could make his debut for the Whites against Rotherham United at Elland Road a week on Saturday.

Neath-born Roberts played 43 of 46 league games as Burnley were promoted from the Championship as champions last season.

Daniel Farke's Leeds are fourth in the Championship, two points behind second-placed Ipswich Town.
