Ian Poveda & Kristian Pedersen: Sheffield Wednesday sign pair on loan

Ian Poveda is out of contract at Leeds United at the end of the season

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Leeds United winger Ian Poveda and Swansea City defender Kristian Pedersen on loan until the end of the season.

Poveda, 23, made his debut for Colombia in December and played 10 games for Leeds this campaign.

Pedersen, 29, made 155 Championship appearances for Birmingham City between 2018 and 2022.

Both players could feature for the Owls, who are five points adrift of safety, at Huddersfield on Saturday.
