Andy Cook struck in the 89th minute to snatch a shock win for Bradford City at promotion-chasing Wrexham.
Cook pounced on the rebound after his first effort was saved just moments after Arthur Okonkwo had denied him from the penalty spot.
It sealed a first win for the Bantams since December while Phil Parkinson's Wrexham slipped to fifth in League Two.
They were wasteful in front of goal as they failed to score at Stok Cae Ras for the first time since November 2021.
Wrexham dominated the first half as Ryan Barnett proved a real threat on the right but Aaron Hayden scuffed a chance and twice Steven Fletcher's header was well saved.
Bradford goalkeeper Sam Walker was also pressed into action to deny long-range efforts from Barnett and James McLean.
Elliot Lee also missed an open chance when he headed wide on the hour.
Bradford have become the draw masters under Graham Alexander and looked to be heading for a fourth draw in five games when Cook scuffed his penalty seven minutes from time.
But the striker turned Ben Tozer in the box to fire past Okonkwo at the second attempt for his 12th of the season and a crucial three points for Parkinson's old club.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson:
"We dominated the first half and should have been a couple of goals ahead.
"We still looked by far the better side in the second half but we couldn't find that moment of quality to unlock the door, which happens in times when things aren't going for you.
"We deserved the win but one moment at the end has proved decisive. We have to take this pain of losing and use it next time out."
