Jacob Wakeling: Peterborough striker to have scan on ankle injury

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson is braced for bad news about injured striker Jacob Wakeling.
The 22-year-old, signed from Swindon last summer, hurt his ankle in an age-group game against Tottenham.
He has only played seven first-team games for Posh, all as a substitute.
"One of the reasons I played him on Saturday was to keep his match fitness up, but we could be missing him for a little while now," Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
"His ankle is very swollen. We'll have to wait a couple of days to get the swelling out of that and then scan him, but it's not looking good that one."
Peterborough are currently fourth in League One, just three points adrift of the automatic promotion places, and are through to the Bristol Street Motors Trophy semi-finals - in which they will be away to Blackpool on 20 February.
Ferguson said the "nasty injury" was the latest in a combination of factors that had restricted Wakeling's appearances so far.
"He came into the club on the last day of the (summer transfer) window. He's cup tied, which has had a big bearing - a lot of the time the ones that haven't started (in the league) have been playing in the cup - it's just been one of those unfortunate seasons, but that can happen," the Scot added.
"He's young, he wants to learn, I'm really pleased with him, it's just been really difficult to get him game time."
