Max Mata: Shrewsbury Town forward returns to Sligo Rovers on loan

Max Mata joined Shrewsbury last summer
Shrewsbury Town have loaned striker Max Mata to Irish Premier League side Sligo Rovers until the end of the season.
The New Zealand international, 23, re-joins Sligo, who he played for from February 2022 until being signed by then Town boss Matt Taylor in August.
Mata has scored just once in 26 appearances, the majority of them off the bench, in Town's 2-1 League One win over Port Vale in November.
Shrewsbury, who are four points above the drop zone, host Wigan on Saturday.
