Georgie Kelly: Carlisle United striker out until April with calf injury

Georgie Kelly has not played since coming on as a late sub for Rotherham at home to Stoke on 13 January

Carlisle United striker Georgie Kelly has been ruled out until April with a calf injury.

The 27-year-old Irishman has not featured since joining the Cumbrians from Rotherham on transfer deadline day earlier this month.

Boss Paul Simpson called the setback "horrendous news for us all".

Meanwhile, on-loan Fulham forward Terry Ablade is set to miss the rest of the season with a torn thigh muscle.

The 22-year-old has made 12 league appearances for the League One strugglers, all as a substitute, but has not played since November.

Carlisle are bottom of the table, 12 points adrift of safety.
