Andre Breitenreiter: Huddersfield Town appoint new head coach

Huddersfield Town have appointed former Schalke and FC Zurich boss Andre Breitenreiter as their new head coach.
The 50-year-old German has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and succeeds Darren Moore, who was sacked at the end of January.
Breitenreiter won the Swiss league title with Zurich in the 2021-22 season.
He had previously guided two German clubs, Paderborn and Hannover, to promotion to the Bundesliga.
Breitenreiter departed Hoffenheim in February 2023 after less than a year in charge and will begin his first role in England from Monday.
Caretaker boss Jon Worthington will lead the team on Saturday when the Terriers, who are 20th in the Championship and five points above the relegation zone, host Hull City.
Huddersfield owner Kevin Nagle said: "At the start of this process, we were very clear on what we expect our head coach to deliver.
"Atop that list was the creation of a winning culture, where there is no fear over taking bold options to try to get all three points in every game - before matchday or during the game.
"We also want to deliver a type of football that will excite our supporters, who love a high-tempo, front-foot, all-action style.
"We believe Andre is the ideal candidate to deliver this. His credentials as a winner are there for all to see and, upon speaking to him, I was very impressed with his depth of knowledge. I'm excited to see the impact he has on our talented squad."
