Greenock Morton 2-1 Airdrieonians: Host extend unbeaten run to 15 games
- Published
Greenock Morton extended their sensational unbeaten run to 15 games by severely denting Airdrieonians' Scottish Championship play-off hopes.
Quickfire goals from George Oakley and Michael Garrity had the hosts two up by the 11th minute at Cappielow.
The visitors pulled one back through Callum Fordyce, but it turned out to be a late consolation for the away side.
Morton now have a seven-point cushion in fourth spot and move eight clear of Airdrie, who drop to seventh.
