Ryan Delaney: 'Looks like season over' for injured Newport captain

Newport County manager Graham Coughlan says it "looks like the season is over" for captain Ryan Delaney.
The 27-year-old defender was taken off with a knee injury in their midweek defeat by Notts County and now appears set to miss the rest of the campaign.
Delaney had only missed one game in League Two this season before Saturday's 1-0 win over Gillingham in which Will Evans scored the winner.
"We had news, it's not good, it looks like his season is over" said Coughlan.
"It's a massive blow, I don't know what we've done to deserve the injury list we've had all season.
"It's disheartening and beats you up, it's hard to take."
Delaney's injury is the latest in a long time suffered by Newport this season, which has included Omar Bogle, Adam Lewis, Offrande Zanzala, Josh Seberry and Harry Charsley.
Coughlan has spoken about reaching the 50-point mark in League Two this season, but as Newport's good form continues they are in the play-off conversation.
Victory over Gillingham moves them to within two points of the top seven, with seventh to 14th separated by just two points.
The Exiles are back in action on Saturday, 24 February at MK Dons, as they go in search of a sixth win from seven games.
