Polly Bancroft: Grimsby Town appoint Manchester United's head of women's football as CEO

Grimsby have appointed Manchester United's head of women's football, Polly Bancroft, as their new CEO.
Bancroft, who joined United in October 2022, will join the League Two side at the end of the season.
She has previously held positions with the women's teams of Brighton and Nottingham Forest and with Uefa and the Football Association.
"We are absolutely thrilled for Polly to be joining us," Grimsby chairman Jason Stockwood told the club website., external
"There was a tremendous amount of interest in the role and to have someone of Polly's calibre and background join us is a real testament to how the club is regarded.
"We look forward to welcoming Polly and her family to the area and for her starting once the WSL season has concluded."
