Briton Ferry Llansawel v Afan Lido: Cymru South rivals look to prevent fan trouble

Afan Lido will make the short journey to Briton Ferry's Old Road home on Friday
Briton Ferry Llansawel and Afan Lido have issued a joint statement in an attempt to prevent trouble between rivals fans at their upcoming derby.
The two clubs, whose grounds are four miles apart, meet at Ferry's Old Road home on Friday (19:30 GMT).
They say they have received information about potential disorder at the Cymru South fixture.
Both clubs have decided under-16s will only be allowed to attend the game if accompanied by an adult.
That decision has been made, they say, following guidance from South Wales Police and the Football Association of Wales.
The statement said: "Both clubs stand united in ensuring the safety of all supporters attending games is paramount."
It added: "We urge all fans to refrain from engaging in any behaviour that could be interpreted as disrespectful, inflammatory or inciteful.
"We do not condone any violence, threats or inappropriate behaviour from anyone attending games and will continue to work hard to eradicate this and ensure every matchday is an enjoyable experience for real supporters of Welsh domestic football.
"Anyone looking to attend to cause trouble will be dealt with appropriately by all parties."
Briton Ferry are second in the Cymru South, behind Llanelli Town, while Afan Lido are fifth.
Afan Lido won 3-2 when the sides met at their Marston's Stadium home last September.
