Wycombe beat League Two side Bradford City to reach the EFL Trophy final

Wycombe and Peterborough have delayed the sale of tickets for the Bristol Street Motors Trophy final because the kick-off time could be changed.

The Chairboys will take on Darren Ferguson's Posh side, winners in 2014, at Wembley on Sunday 7 April.

Wycombe say they have been made aware that the start time is "under review".

A club statement said: "The fixture is currently scheduled to kick off at 3pm. We will confirm details as soon as we are able to."

Peterborough supporters were due to be able to begin buying tickets from 10:00 GMT on Friday morning.

But the club said that "as a result of the possible kick-off time change" they had decided to put the sale on hold.

Their statement added: "Once the football club have a confirmed kick-off time, we will communicate the new on sale periods which will allow supporters to have clarification and plan their day out at Wembley."
