Leicester City assistant manager Jennifer Foster says it is "business as usual" for the Foxes while boss Willie Kirk continues to assist the club with an "internal process".
Kirk was not on the touchline in Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Liverpool.
Foster and first-team coach Stephen Kirby took charge as the Foxes reached the last four for the first time.
"Our focus was on the game and the game only," Foster told BBC Sport.
"Yesterday I was made aware [of taking charge of the game]. It's business as usual. These things happen and for me it was just about preparing the players for the game as best as possible.
"The players dealt with it really well and so did everybody else. All focus was on Liverpool. It was 'how do we go and beat them?'. That was the main focus and we did that."
Foster said she will continue taking things "day by day" and does not know how long she will be in temporary charge for.
The draw for the FA Cup semi-finals takes place on Tuesday during BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast, at about 08:20 GMT.
The Foxes awere re the first name in the hat and will play either Manchester United, Chelsea or Tottenham. Foster said she was proud to lead the team into the last four for the first time.
"We knew that we could make history by getting a result today and that was the focus," she said.
"The players know what the focus is throughout the week and we got what we deserved today."
