Jack Price: Shrewsbury boss Paul Hurst says it is premature to talk about short-term deal for midfielder

Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Hurst says it is "too early" to say whether the League One club will offer a contract to midfielder Jack Price.
The former Wolves player, 31, has been training with Town, having left Major Soccer League side Colorado Rapids in October.
Hurst says Price has to "prove a little bit more" over his fitness before any potential deal is sorted out.
"He seems a really good guy but he's been out a long time," Hurst said.
Shrewsbury-born Price came through the youth system at Wolves and went on to make more than 100 first-team appearances before ending his six-year spell at Molineux with a move to the United States in January 2018.
After five years in the MLS, Price was released and has been building his fitness with Shrewsbury over the last few weeks, having not played a competitive game for nearly a year following an Achilles tendon injury.
"Last week, when he trained one day and then the next, he was pretty sore," Hurst told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"He looks like he enjoys playing football, and he certainly looked like he'd missed it and put a lot into the session.
"He probably felt it the next day, which is understandable and not a problem. It was maybe a little reminder that he has been out for some time."
Hurst said signing Price "might be a conversation down the line" they have with the club's director of football Micky Moore chairman Roland Wycherley.
"In terms of him getting treatment and getting back fit, there are no issues," Hurst said.
"It's too early to say if anything will happen because, ultimately, he's kind of got a little bit to prove in terms of fitness."
Clubs have until the end of March to sign unattached players and if Price does agree terms he would join former West Bromwich Albion forward Rayhaan Tulloch in doing so at Croud Meadow.
