Arbroath 2-3 Dunfermline Athletic: Visitors climb to fourth with victory
- Published
Dunfermline Athletic held off Arbroath's fightback to go fourth in the Scottish Championship.
The Pars were three up at half-time after Ewan Otoo struck, Paul Allan netted from a free-kick and Chris Kane scored from close range.
Scott Stewart headed bottom side Arbroath back into the contest nine minutes into the second half.
And Stewart tucked in his second from close ranger, but Jim McIntyre's side could not draw level.
They remain nine points adrift of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, while Dunfermline leapfrog Airdrieonians, who have two games in hand, and remain a point above Greenock Morton.
