Adran North champions Llandudno have won their appeal to be granted a FAW Women's Tier 1 licence for the 2024-25 season.

They will face Adran South champions Briton Ferry Llansawel, already granted a licence, in a play-off for promotion.

Genero Adran Premier bottom side Pontypridd United lost their appeal having been refused a Tier 1 licence.

Both Pontypridd and Llandudno had 10 days to submit an appeal against the initial decision to withhold a licence.

Nine clubs have been granted the Tier 1 licence: Aberystwyth Town, Barry Town United, Briton Ferry Llansawel, Cardiff City, Cardiff Met University, Llandudno, Swansea City, The New Saints and Wrexham.

Connah's Quay Nomads withdrew their Tier 1 licence application.

Cardiff City, Cardiff Met, Swansea City and Wrexham have also been awarded Uefa licences for next season.
