Tamworth have won successive promotion to return to the National League for the first time since being relegated in 2013-14
Tamworth have won promotion to the National League - to earn a return to English football's fifth tier for the first time since 2014.
The Midlands side had a chance to go up as National League North champions on Monday, only to lose 3-0 at Brackley, their heaviest defeat of the campaign.
However, they drew 1-1 with Warrington Town at home on Saturday to seal a second successive automatic promotion.
With two games left they are eight points above second-placed Scunthorpe.
The Iron are one of seven former EFL teams, including three reformed phoenix outfits, in the National League North that the Lambs have bettered this season.
The success of Andy Peaks' Lambs has been built on the back of the league's tightest defence.
They have conceded just 27 goals conceded in 44 games while midfielder Kyle Finn has been their main goal threat, with 14.
In the race to fill the second place via the play-offs, Scunthorpe won again to sit three points ahead of third-placed Brackley.
Fourth-placed Chorley (77 pts) are clear of three clubs on 71 pts, South Shields, Alfreton and Curzon Ashton, who are three ahead of Chester, Boston United and Spennymoor (all on 68 pts).
