Homegrown teenager Harry Ashfield has signed a new deal that will keep the midfielder at Wrexham until the end of the 2026-27 season.

An option for another season has been included in the 18-year-old Wrexham-born player's contract.

He has made six appearance in all competitions under Phil Parkinson.

Ashfield, who arrived at the club aged 12, said: "It's an excellent feeling to sign a new deal with my club. I'm excited to kick-on and see what I can do in the first team – hopefully I can prove myself."

Parkinson said: "I'd like to congratulate Harry on his new contract. He's worked very hard right from day one of pre-season and we're looking to seeing his development."
