Cymru Premier round-up: TNS ease to win at Barry

Barry Town United 1-4 The New Saints: Reigning champions The New Saints kept up the pressure at the top of the table as they eased to victory at mid-table Barry Town United. Declan McManus struck twice with Ashley Baker and Leo Smith also finding the target in south Wales as Saints secured a fourth successive win. Sam Snaith hit back after McManus' opener and Baker's contribution, but the visitors proved too strong.
Caernarfon Town 1-5 Penybont: The visitors maintained their grip on top spot as they hammered Caernarfon Town. Chris Venables and Nathan Wood struck in the opening period with Wood, Gabriel Kircough and James Crole adding to their tally. Paulo Mendes hit back for Caernarfon's consolation after Wood's second as the hosts slipped to sixth.
Connah's Quay Nomads 1-0 Cardiff Met: Ben Maher's first-half effort proved the difference against 10-man Cardiff Met, who had Jac Clay sent off for a second yellow card after 19 minutes. Nomads lie eighth after their fifth win of the campaign while the students are now fourth, five points adrift of Haverfordwest County.
Haverfordwest County 4-1 Flint Town United: Ben Ahmun and Greg Walters put the hosts in front before Florian Yonsian replied. Ben Fawcett added a brace to secure Haverfordwest's win and boost their title bid. Flint Town remain 10th.
Newtown 0-0 Bala Town: There were nine yellow cards, including the two that led to George Newell being sent off for the visitors in the dying stages. Bala are a point off sixth spot while Newtown are a point and two places below them in the table.
Briton Ferry 4-0 Aberystwyth Town: Briton Ferry moved off the foot of the table after securing an emphatic win over relegation rivals Aberystwyth. Luke Bowen and Thomas Walters both struck for the home side in the first half, and Caleb Demery netted twice in added time to earn Briton Ferry their second league win of the campaign. Town drop to bottom spot after losing for the 12th time in the Cymru Premier this season.
