Burton Albion have signed Geraldo Bajrami on a two-year deal and also agreed to bring in winger Tomas Kalinauskas from Dutch club FC Den Bosch.
Bajrami, 24, will step up to League One with the Brewers after turning down a new deal offered by Notts County, where he has spent the last two seasons.
He failed to make a league appearance last term after suffering a season-ending injury in a Carabao Cup tie in August.
Lithuania international Kalinauskas, who has signed a three-year contract, began his career at Barnsley but played under Burton boss Mark Robinson during a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon in early 2022.
"The English football pyramid is renowned globally and it’s where I want to be," the 23-year-old said. "I feel like I’m ready to step up and showcase myself.”
Bajrami, a Birmingham City academy graduate, went on to play non-league football with Solihull Moors and Kidderminster before joining Notts.
"Burton are a league higher than Notts County and I want to play as high as I can, as soon as I can," Bajrami told the club website., external
"I want to challenge myself and I want to be part of what’s happening at this club.”
The double signing follows Wednesday's arrival of midfielder Elliot Watt.
The three new additions at the Pirelli Stadium come a week after the east Staffordshire club was taken over by Swedish-based Nordic Football Group.
