Wales international Megan Wynne has joined Australian side Perth Glory on a two-year contract.

Winger Wynne was released by Southampton FC Women in June after two years with the Women's Championship side.

Capped 24 times by Wales, the 31-year-old also has Women's Super League experience with Tottenham Hostpur.

Wynne started her career playing college football in America, with her last Wales cap coming in a 2-0 friendly defeat against the USA in San Jose 13 months ago.

“For most of my career I’ve played within England and therefore I know now that I’m ready for a new challenge and to test myself in a new league,” said Hertfordshire-born Wynne.

“I’ve always looked at the A-League from afar and thought it would be somewhere I would love to play my football.

“I’m so excited to have Perth as my home for the next two seasons and I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and all the staff.

“I’ll give my everything to make sure this season is a successful one.”

The 2024-25 A-League Women starts in October, with Glory looking to improve on 10th place in the 12 team competition last season.
