Jersey Bulls are through to the first qualifying round of the FA Cup following a 2-0 win over Fisher at Springfield.

Fraser Barlow saw an early effort well saved by Fisher’s Tommy Taylor before Jay Giles put the islanders in front nine minutes before half time.

Giles got on the end of Francis Lekimamti’s cross at the back post for his first goal of the season.

James Carr and Rai Dos Santos had good second half chances for the Bulls, while the hosts did well to scramble a Fisher effort away.

Bulls manager Elliot Powell was sent off as the second half wore on after receiving a second yellow card for remonstrating with the officials.

Despite being without their boss, Bulls made the game safe in the fourth minute of stoppage time when Dos Santos calmly finished after being put through on goal by Joe Kilshaw.
