Danny Webb has returned to the role of Chesterfield assistant manager 10 days after ending his one-game spell as Yeovil Town boss.
The 42-year-old had just 10 days in charge at Huish Park after leaving as Paul Cook's assistant last month.
He resigned from the National League club citing personal and family reasons.
Webb returns to work alongside Cook with the club sixth in League Two.
"We are delighted to welcome Danny back to Chesterfield," chairman Ashley Kirk told the club website.
"Danny is well respected, not just internally but also by our supporters, and we know how popular his return will be."
Webb, who had a brief spell in charge at Leyton Orient in 2017, led Yeovil to a 1-0 loss to Tamworth in his only game in charge and was replaced by coach Richard Dryden, who had been the interim manager before his appointment.
"On behalf of the club, I'd like to extend my empathy and appreciation to Yeovil Town's owners and board, who have handled this difficult situation with the utmost professionalism and understanding," Kirk added.
"We recognise this will not have been an easy episode for them and we thank them for their conduct throughout.
"Most importantly, we are pleased to have Danny back with us and we look forward to continuing the good work together."
