Ipswich Town have signed striker Chuba Akpom on a season-long loan from Dutch club Ajax.
The 29-year-old began his career at Arsenal and following a spell with PAOK Salonika scored 33 goals in 77 league appearances for Middlesbrough.
He joined Ajax in the summer of 2023 but spent part of last season on loan at French club Lille, where he netted three times in 15 games and played in the Champions League.
"I watch a lot of football and have always thought Ipswich would suit my style, so this move makes perfect sense," he told the Tractor Boys website.
"I'm here to do as much as I can do to help the team, in the changing room and on the pitch, and I'll bring a winning mentality here."
He joins an Ipswich side who drew 1-1 with promoted Birmingham City in their opening game of the new campaign.
They are at home to Bromley in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday before resuming league action at Portman Road on Sunday against Southampton, who were relegated alongside them from the Premier League in May.
