Grimsby bring in Orient full-back Sweeney

Jayden Sweeney made 28 appearances in all competitions for Leyton Orient last season

Grimsby Town have signed Leyton Orient full-back Jayden Sweeney on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old will join the Mariners on Tuesday when his deal with the O's expires.

Sweeney first joined the London side at the age of seven and made 60 league appearances for Richie Wellens' men.

"He's someone that we've had our eyes on for quite a while, so we are delighted that he's chosen us," Grimsby boss David Artell told the club website.
