Shrewsbury Town have brought in striker Bradley Ihionvien on a season-long loan from Peterborough United.
The 21-year-old joined Posh from Colchester in August 2024, and scored three goals in 20 appearances last season.
Ihionvien could now make his Shrewsbury debut in their EFL Trophy clash with Walsall on Tuesday.
"I wasn't supposed to go on loan, but when things are out of your control I had to go somewhere to play my football," he told the club website, external.
"It's just about getting some games in, scoring some goals and enjoying the game again."
Speaking following Saturday's defeat by Exeter City, Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson said things had "just not worked" for Ihionvien at the club.
"As a striker you need to play regularly and I couldn't guarantee that, especially if we bring one in, and obviously if we bring one in, he's the one that's going to be playing," he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
