Chelsea defender Hughes joins AFC Wimbledon on loan

Chelsea U21 defender Brodi Hughes has joined AFC Wimbledon on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old becomes the Dons' 10th signing of the summer.

"I'm delighted to get the deal finally done and I can't wait to kick on and help the team out to progress through the season," he told the Wimbledon website.

Wimbledon have picked up nine points from their first five League One games this season and visit Bradford City on Saturday.
