'A mistake by Farke' but Bamford will be 'fondly remembered'

Following the news that striker Patrick Bamford has left Leeds by mutual consent after seven years with the club, we asked for your views on the decision.
Here are some of your comments:
John: Sad to see Paddy leave. Always thought he was a positive influence around the club and his hold up play was a big advantage. Injuries and aging mean the time is right to go, but I think it could have been handled better. Hope he finds a good club and has a few good, injury-free seasons. Will always be fondly remembered by me and many supporters.
Dan: It's an absolute heartbreaker for Bamford and us as a club. We all know he's had a lot of injury problems over the past couple of seasons, but a fit and healthy Bamford is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League. I think most Leeds fans were wishing we could have called on him on Tuesday night against Sheffield Wednesday. Think this is a mistake by Daniel Farke.
Apple: When Bamford was fit he was an excellent acquisition for Leeds, unfortunately his fitness became so unreliable he just became a millstone. I will always remember his volley against Peterborough in the 2024 FA Cup.
Paul: Wish him well. Served the club well and, in my opinion, let go too soon. Scored some memorable goals. Only time will tell if Farke has made the right choices.
Stewey: Paddy Bamford is a legend at Leeds, no wonder he feels "raw", but progress has to be made! He was a major player in previous promotions, and will be fondly remembered. Good Luck Paddy B.
Mike: I think that Bamford will be fondly remembered by the majority of Leeds fans and he deserves to be. He was a very good Championship striker and an average Premier League one. While his finishing was often suspect and he lacked genuine pace, you couldn't fault his work rate. I doubt that many people (including Bamford) expected him to win an England cap. Overall, he did a good job when we needed it to eventually escape from lower league mediocrity and I wish him well for the future.
