Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Lee Nicholls has extended his contract until the end of the 2027-28 season.

The 32-year-old joined the Terriers from MK Dons in May 2021 and has made 133 league appearances.

"Whether I am playing or not, my commitment isn't in question, and I'll either do enough to earn a place in the team or make the other goalkeepers around me better by pushing them to be at their best," he told the club website., external

Meanwhile, Town have ended striker Freddie Ladapo's contract by mutual consent.

The former Rotherham and Ipswich man joined as a free agent on a two-year deal last September but scored just once in 25 appearances in all competitions.
