  1. 'Wales exceeding expectations'published at 15:57 GMT

    Gareth Delve
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

Before the match we would have taken a 10-point margin at half-time but Wales have exceeded expectations with their performance in the first half and they will be disappointed with that deficit.

I was genuinely worried before the game for this young team but they've battled hard and scored a couple of good tries, especially Tom Rogers' first.

  2. Half-time: Wales 14-24 New Zealandpublished at 15:54 GMT

A minor scuffle as Hollie Davidson blows her whistle.

Wales left to rue that try on the stroke of half-time but a strong and spirited effort by Steve Tandy's men.

How long can they stay in the fight?

  3. Soft defencepublished at 39 mins

Rhys Carre and Kieron Assiratti should have sent the All Black player backwards then but Scott Barrett adds his weight to drag his man through the door. Soft tackling.

    Williams try, McKenzie con

What a finish by prop Tamaiti Williams.

Wales stop the drive but then the loose-head carries hard and spins out of tackles to dot down.

Damian McKenzie slots over the conversion from the left and it's a 10-point game again.

    Wales 14-17 New Zealand

Wales put themselves under pressure by failing to gather the restart and then they are penalised for offside in the 22.

New Zealand - whose number eight Wallace Sititi has been carrying impressively - go for the corner.

    First, Kieron Assiratti needs treatment.

Credit to Wales' coaching staff, some of their lineouts are really innovative and it's giving the backs some fantastic ball to play off.

    Rogers try, Edwards con

    Another superb response by Wales!

Wales play with penalty advantage in the 22 and keep attacking with Scarlets wing Rogers going over for his second down the left.

Blair Murray gathered a Tomos Williams dink through and then Dan Edwards and Max Llewellyn put the left wing over.

Right on cue, New Zealand pounce.

I was just thinking we were defending well but Reuben Love spots a big fella he can beat, steps off his right foot and shows his pace.

    Love try, McKenzie con

    Spoke too soon Hooky!

A huge carry by Wallace Sititi from a goalline drop-out and then the ball is worked to the right for full-back Ruben Love to break through, beating prop Rhys Carre, and go over.

The playmaker is highly rated in New Zealand.

McKenzie adds the simple conversion and suddenly the All Blacks have some breathing space.

    James Hook
Former Wales fly-half on BBC Radio Wales

Since conceding that first try, Wales have been defending pretty well in their structure and look pretty good.

They just need to start listening to Hollie Davidson when she warns the jacklers about going in and they can stop giving away these needless penalties.

    But they're looking good.

  11. Wales on the wrong end of the penalty countpublished at 27 mins

    Wales 7-10 New Zealand

    Gareth Davies
Former Wales fly-half on Cymru Fyw

That is a massive frustration during the autumn for Wales. They've given so many opportunities to the opposition due to their discipline.

    Wales 7-10 New Zealand

An All Blacks handling error ends the attack, one that started with a poor pass from scrum-half Cortez Ratima off the line-out.

New Zealand haven't been at their slickest while Wales are showing plenty of tenacity.

  13. Penalties racking uppublished at 23 mins

    Wales 7-10 New Zealand

Wales are penalised again in midfield and Hollie Davidson gives captain Dewi Lake a warning.

Damian McKenzie opts to kick for the 22 this time.

    Wales 7-10 New Zealand

    Gareth Delve
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

A big factor last week for New Zealand was that they destroyed England's line-out.

If they do that again today and push Wales down to 60% figures at the line-out, it's going to be a very tough day for Adam Beard and Dafydd Jenkins.

  15. Close!published at 20 mins

    Wales 7-10 New Zealand

    So close for Wales!

They claim the line-out then hammer away in the 22. It looks like loose-head prop Rhys Carre was in but a great tackle and jackal by New Zealand tight-head Pasilio Tosi to win a penalty that relieves the pressure.

The All Blacks are probing away - they are all so comfortable with ball in hand - but Wales are hanging on in there.

Tandy's men happy to put boot to ball, keep New Zealand in their half and try to steal some possession in the aerial battle.

    Wales 7-10 New Zealand

New Zealand's turn to show some poor discipline.

No release at the breakdown and Wales opt to kick towards the 22 rather than have a long-range effort at a leveller.

  20. Penalty: Wales 7-10 New Zealandpublished at 12 mins

    McKenzie pen

Taine Plumtree goes off his feet and New Zealand call for the kicking tee.

Damian McKenzie slots the kick from a central position, just ouside the 22.

Cheap penalty to give away and New Zealand get their noses back in front.
