Swansea City sign goalkeeper McLaughlin

Jon McLaughlin began his career with Harrogate Town

Swansea City have signed goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin on a short-term deal until January.

The 36-year-old, who most recently played for Rangers, will provide cover for Andy Fisher as he recovers from groin surgery.

McLaughlin, a Scotland international, featured against Swansea in the 2013 League Cup Final for Bradford.

The experienced goalkeeper has also played for Burton Albion, Hearts and Sunderland.
