Man City sign England youth international Annets

Manchester City have signed England youth international Eve Annets on a four-year deal.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper has joined last season's Women's Super League runners-up from Reading, where she made three senior appearances.

She joins fellow goalkeepers Khiara Keating and Sandy Maciver at the club.

"A club like this, to hear they're interested in you is just a feeling that can't be matched," Annets said.

"The aspirations I've got, coming to a club like this is just incredible."

City boss Gareth Taylor added: "Eve is a talented young player.

"It's clear she's someone who wants to learn and raise her game even further."
