Stockport sign Barnsley wing-back O'Keefe

Corey O'Keeffe started his career with Birmingham City

Stockport County have signed Barnsley wing-back Corey O'Keeffe on a season-long loan deal.

The 27-year-old made 70 League One appearances for the Tykes in the past two seasons after joining them from Forest Green Rovers.

"He'll again bring reliability in different positions, in both full-back and wing-back roles, whilst also being capable of playing in midfield," boss Dave Challinor told the club website.

"We are all really looking forward to working with him, and seeing him settle into our group as quickly as possible."
