Chelsea forward Morgan makes Gillingham loan move

Jimmy-Jay Morgan's experience of senior football has been limited to the EFL Trophy

Gillingham have signed Chelsea's England youth international striker Jimmy-Jay Morgan on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old, who moved to Chelsea's academy from Southampton in February 2023 for an undisclosed fee, has yet to feature for the Premier League side's first team.

Morgan has played six times for Chelsea's Under-21 side in the EFL Trophy, having also played three times in the competition for Southampton.

He has also been capped at Under-16, 17 and 18 level by England and has scored six times in 10 Premier League Two matches this season.
