Harris extends Carlisle deal as Charters heads on loan

Carlisle United winger Kadeem Harris has extended his deal until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old signed a short-term contract with the Cumbrians in November and has scored two goals in 11 appearances.

Mike Williamson's side are second from bottom in League Two, five points adrift of safety.

"He made an instant impact when he first joined us with his quality, and he's continued that ever since," Williamson told the club website., external

Meanwhile, midfielder Taylor Charters has joined Scottish League One side Queen of the South on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Charters, 23, who scored the winning penalty Carlisle in the League Two play-off final at Wembley in 2023, has made nine appearances this season.

He is the eighth player to leave Brunton Park this month.
