Bell stays at Crewe despite approach by another club

Lee Bell is to remain Crewe Alexandra manager despite interest from another unnamed club.
Bell was appointed two years ago after a month in interim charge following predecessor Alex Morris' decision to step down from the role.
A club statement said: "Crewe Alexandra are delighted to confirm that Lee Bell will remain in charge after turning down an official approach from another club.
"The manager has reaffirmed his total commitment to leading our promotion push and his focus is on Friday's clash with Colchester United."
Crewe finished 13th in 2022-23 following Bell's appointment but he guided them to the play-offs final last season before losing 2-0 to Crawley Town at Wembley.
They are currently third in the table following Saturday's 2-0 win at Grimsby Town, when Jack Lankester and Joel Tabiner were on the scoresheet, and are unbeaten in 11 league games.
After Friday's home game with Colchester, they face back-to-back trips to Cheltenham Town and MK Dons before the end of the year.
