AFC Wimbledon manager Johnnie Jackson has been given a one-match touchline ban after he was sent off in the Dons' 2-2 draw with Newport County.
The 42-year-old Dons boss was dismissed for his protests after Newport were awarded a penalty in the fifth minute of added time in their League Two match at The Cherry Red Records Stadium on Tuesday, 3 December.
Shane McLoughlin scored the spot-kick to earn the Welsh side a point.
Former Charlton Athletic midfielder Jackson was also fined £750 for his behaviour.
"The manager admitted to acting in an improper manner in the 95th minute of the fixture and his sanctions were imposed by an independent regulatory commission," a Football Association spokesperson said in a post on X., external
Goals from Alistair Smith and Matty Stevens gave Wimbledon a two-goal lead before Michael Spellman halved the deficit for the visitors.
Kyle Jameson was fouled by Huseyin Biler to give McLoughlin the opportunity to equalise from the spot deep into added time.
Wimbledon are currently sixth in League Two with 30 points and host third-placed Doncaster Rovers at 15:00 GMT on Saturday.
