Carlisle sign ex-Sunderland midfielder Robson

Carlisle United have signed midfielder Ethan Robson on a two-year deal following his departure from MK Dons.
The 27-year-old came through Sunderland's academy before moving to Blackpool in 2020 and Stadium MK two years later.
Robson made 60 appearances for MK Dons and Carlisle boss Paul Simpson said he will add an attacking threat to his side in League Two next season.
“Ethan is a really good footballer. He’s left-footed so he gives us a little bit more balance in that area."
Simpson added: “He’s got a wand of a left foot for finding that pass. In the past couple of seasons he hasn’t been the one getting the assists for goals, but he’s the one finding the pass that leads to the assist.
“I want him to add more goals to his game, when you’ve got a sweet left foot like he has, I want him to go and test goalkeepers."
Carlisle were relegated to League One last season after finishing bottom of the table.
