Jersey Bulls maintained their unbeaten record in Isthmian League South East after a 1-1 draw with Sittingbourne.

An uneventful first half was brought to life in the 44th minute when Lorne Bickley converted Adam Trotter’s pinpoint pass to put the islanders ahead.

But Sittingbourne levelled less than two minutes later as Yannis Ambroisine scored from a stoppage time corner.

Bulls thought they had taken the lead with 19 minutes left but Miguel Carvalho‘s strike was ruled out after the ball had been adjudged to have gone out of play in the build up.

The point moves the islanders up to 10th in the table after four draws and two wins from their six league games, while Sittingbourne are in fifth place.
