Will Dean's winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time saw Truro City win 2-1 at St Albans and move up to second place in National League South.
Zane Banton had given the hosts the lead three minutes into the second half.
Truro looked to be on course for back-to-back losses having been beaten by Maidstone United last week, but substitute Andrew Neal flicked home a 79th-minute corner two minutes after coming on.
Dean had a shot cleared off the line 10 minutes later before he fired in left footed from the edge of the box deep in stoppage time.
"We have played better, but I thought again the players when we went a goal behind rolled their sleeves up," Truro manager John Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"We could have had more goals, but you just thought it was going to be one of those days.
"Then obviously Rocky's (Neal) come on and I don't know how it managed to go in, it seemed to go a mile into the air and then drop into the back stick and we were just pushing them for a second and Will Dean's come up with a fantastic goal at the end."
