Stevenage sign winger Edwards from Oxford

Kyle Edwards scored just one league goal in his time with Oxford

Stevenage have signed winger Kyle Edwards on a permanent deal from Championship club Oxford United.

The 26-year-old has had 18 injury-hit months with Oxford, managing just two goals in 13 appearances across all competitions since first joining them on loan from Ipswich in the summer of 2023.

He moved to Oxford on a short-term permanent deal last January while injured, and had his deal extended at the start of the season.

The former England Under-20 international, who started his career with West Bromwich Albion, made seven appearances for Oxford this season - the last of them coming in a 4-0 defeat by Leeds United in December.
