Cambridge United have signed winger Adam Mayor on loan from Millwall for the rest of the season.
The move reunites Mayor with former Lions boss Neil Harris, who returned to Cambridge for a second spell in charge in February.
Mayor has made six senior appearances for Millwall, the most recent as a half-time substitute in their 2-1 EFL Cup win over Coventry City on 26 August.
"This is a great opportunity for me to get minutes, show what I can do and help the team," he told the club website, external.
"I spoke to the manager, and he made it clear how much he wanted me here, which means a lot."
Mayor began his career at Morecambe and spent the second half of last season on loan at Bromley, making 17 appearances.
"His ball-carrying ability and direct style of play will add a quality that complements the attributes we already have in the team," said Harris.
"We will help him develop as a player, while he will help us succeed as a team."
Cambridge have taken 10 points from their first six games in League Two following relegation in May.
