Stevenage have signed goalkeeper Murphy Cooper on a season-long loan from QPR.

The 22-year-old is a product of the R's academy and spent last season on loan at Swindon Town, where he made 23 League Two appearances.

Stevenage announced that Cooper would be called straight into action after his signing, starting on Saturday against Chelsea Under-21s just minutes after his move was announced.

Alex Revell's side will get their League One campaign under way against Shrewsbury Town on 10 August.
