MK Dons sign defender Jones after Bolton exit

The length of Gethin Jones' contract with MK Dons has not been disclosed

MK Dons have signed Gethin Jones after the defender was released by League One side Bolton Wanderers at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old Australia international, who started his career with Everton, made 188 appearances in all competitions during his time with the Trotters.

MK Dons head coach Paul Warne says he has "admired" the defender for a number of years.

"He can play in multiple positions across the backline, although as an attacking full-back, he provides great delivery into the box, but his flexibility enables us to play different systems," Warne told the club website.
