Northampton sign full-back Guinness-Walker

Northampton Town have signed former Reading left-back Nesta Guinness-Walker on a short-term contract.
The 25-year-old was released by the Royals in the summer after spending the second half of last season on loan at Stevenage.
He made a combined 22 appearances in League One last season for the two clubs, having joined Reading from AFC Wimbledon in 2022.
"Luke Mbete has performed really well for us but the injuries to Patrick Brough and Ali Koiki have left us a little short in that position," said Cobblers boss Jon Brady.
Brough and Koiki are facing lengthy spells on the sidelines - Brough with a fractured leg and Koiki with a muscle injury.
"Nesta has been playing and training with the PFA [Professional Footballers' Association] squad recently so he is ready to go whenever we need him and that's important," Brady added.
"He can affect games both from a defensive and attacking point of view, he is athletic and he can get up and down the left-hand side. He has done well in League One over the last few seasons."
The Cobblers have not disclosed the exact length of Guinness-Walker's contract.
