Mowatt signs new West Brom contract

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Alex Mowatt has signed a new two-year contract with the Championship club.
Mowatt, 31, joined the Baggies from Barnsley in the summer of 2021 and has made 131 appearances and scored 13 goals so far.
He has started both of Albion's Championship games this season under new boss Ryan Mason - a 1-0 win at home against Blackburn and a 3-2 win at newly-promoted Wrexham - and will now stay at The Hawthorns until at least 2027.
